About Ask About GLP-1

Hi, I’m Alex Morgan

I started this site because I couldn’t find straight answers when I needed them most.

When I first began my GLP-1 journey, I spent hours searching online for clear, honest information — about what to expect, what to eat, how long it takes to work, what happens if you stop, and whether it was right for me. Most of what I found was either too clinical, buried in medical jargon, or written by people who had never actually taken these medications.

I went through the process myself. The highs, the side effects, the questions my doctor didn’t have time to answer, the moments of doubt, and eventually the results. I learned a lot — sometimes the hard way — and I didn’t want other people to have to go through the same frustrating search for information that I did.

So I built Ask About GLP-1.

What This Site Is

Ask About GLP-1 is a plain-language resource for anyone who is curious about, considering, currently taking, or thinking about stopping GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound.

Every article on this site is written with one goal in mind: give you the clearest, most honest answer possible to the questions you are actually asking. No fluff, no scare tactics, no agenda — just real information you can use.

Topics covered on this site include:

  • How GLP-1 medications work and what to expect
  • Comparing different GLP-1 drugs side by side
  • Managing side effects and what to do about them
  • What to eat and drink while on GLP-1 medications
  • Cost, insurance coverage, and Medicare access
  • What happens when you stop taking GLP-1 medications
  • The latest news and research on GLP-1 treatments

A Note on Medical Advice

I am not a doctor, nurse, or licensed medical professional. Everything on this site is written for informational purposes only and should not be taken as medical advice. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any medication.

That said, I take accuracy seriously. Every article is researched carefully and I link to credible sources including medical journals, government health agencies, and established medical institutions wherever possible.
